9th Mariang Maya Awards

On February 25, 2023, the 9th Mariang Maya Awards celebrated eight outstanding Sigma Delta Phi sorority members, honoring their exceptional achievements across fields including public administration, visual journalism, diplomacy, food research, business, social research, human resources, and broadcast communications. The ceremony also marked the sorority's 90th anniversary.

The Mariang Maya Awards, organized by Sigma Delta Phi, recognize women who embody leadership, creativity, and social commitment. Named after the Philippine oriole—symbolizing freedom and grace—the awards celebrate outstanding contributions of Filipinas in various fields, continuing the sorority's legacy of empowering women and fostering service to community and nation.
