Projection Mapping for "A Christmas Carol"
Acclaimed choreographer Edna Vida returned to Ballet Philippines with a grand new ballet adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. This festive production brought holiday cheer to the CCP Main Theater from November 30 to December 8, 2013, merging classic storytelling with multimedia artistry.
Digibox Audio Visual Productions Co. designed the video projections and visual effects, helping create a cinematic, storybook-like atmosphere that enhanced the dance narrative and immersed audiences in the spirit of Christmas.
A must-see for families, A Christmas Carol combined music, movement, and visuals into a modern holiday classic.
Critics' Reviews:
"To mount this magnificent and eye-popping production, Vida was assisted by Digibox Audiovisual Productions Co. in unprecedentedly merging her dance steps with video images, video titles, laser lights, chains, and costumes that flicker and light fully. The effect was cinematic and the young audience shrieked in delight and gasped in excitement."

"Videos by Digibox Productions were used to project select dialogues between characters, and also flashed the wintry European setting for the scenes… adding a sense of elegant cleanliness to the scenery."
