GCED in Practice: Mindanao State University Case Study

Digibox Audiovisual Productions Co. was commissioned by the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) — under UNESCO — to produce a documentary video titled "A Case of Mindanao State University: Integrating GCED with Peace Education (Mindanao, the Philippines)."

This project forms part of GCED in Practice: Innovative Initiatives on Global Citizenship Education in Different Corners of the World, an APCEIU initiative that features educational efforts fostering peace, empathy, and shared global responsibility.

Through this film, Mindanao State University's journey in promoting Global Citizenship Education (GCED) alongside peace education is brought to life — showing how a university in Mindanao weaves together cultural understanding, dialogue, and inclusivity to empower its students as agents of peace and change.

Digibox is honored to have been part of this meaningful project that shines a light on how education continues to build bridges of understanding across diverse communities. This project is part of our continued collaboration on impactful educational and international initiatives, alongside work with organizations like WHO, UNICEF, and other global education programs.
