Bakas by Chris Martinez

This short film by Chris Martinez, starring Eugene Domingo and Joseph Pe, with music by Alfonso Coke Bolipata, was produced sometime in the early 2000s or earlier as a student film.

I had the opportunity to edit this short film when our company, Digibox, was just starting out. The film was originally shot on Mini DV and edited in 1920x1080 HDV resolution.

Years later, Chris Martinez — now a famous and award-winning director — reached out asking if I still had a copy of his early work. Luckily, I had archived the edited master, allowing me to post it on Facebook for fans to view.

This project holds a special place in our company's history as one of our first professional editing works.
