The FLIP 2017 Recital, held on February 21, 2017, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Theater, was a significant event organized by Guang Ming College and the Fo Guang Shan Foundation (FGS). The recital was part of the ongoing efforts by FGS to promote Chinese culture, arts, and Buddhist teachings through the Fo Guang Shan International Programme (FLIP).

A Celebration of Talent and Culture

The recital featured a diverse array of performances by students and artists from Guang Ming College, showcasing their artistic talents across various forms such as music, dance, and theatrical presentations. Each performance reflected the rich cultural exchange fostered by the Fo Guang Shan Foundation and highlighted the spiritual teachings of Buddhism. It was an opportunity for students and faculty to come together in celebration of their shared values, showcasing their commitment to the development of both their artistic and spiritual lives.

The Fo Guang Shan Foundation is a global Buddhist organization dedicated to promoting Humanistic Buddhism through education, culture, and community service. In the Philippines, the foundation engages in spiritual programs, charitable initiatives, and cultural activities, fostering compassion, mindfulness, and social harmony.

Digibox's Role in the Event

Digibox was privileged to support the FLIP 2017 recital by providing multi-camera video coverage, ensuring that every aspect of the performances was captured in high-quality detail. Additionally, we contributed projection mapping to enhance the visual experience. Using MadMapper and Isadora Interactive Video Mapping Software, we designed dynamic projections that added an immersive element to the stage, amplifying the emotional and thematic impact of the performances.

It was a truly meaningful experience for us to be part of such a culturally rich event, helping bring the FLIP 2017 recital to life through multi-camera video coverage and projection mapping, allowing the audience to experience the event in a new, visually compelling way.
