Larolympics 2025: Celebrating Filipino Childhood Games at Marikina Sports Center

Last November 28, Digibox Audiovisual Productions had the privilege of providing full Live Event Coverage for the Larolympics, held at the Marikina Sports Center. This unique event brought together grade school students from various schools to compete in classic Filipino children's games, reimagined in an Olympic-style competition.

The Larolympics is a project of Knowledge Channel, furthering their mission of promoting learning through engaging, culturally rooted activities.

This is the second installment of the Larolympics series, following the kick-off event last September 19, which we also proudly covered.

Our Coverage Setup

For this event, our team deployed a 4-camera multi-angle setup, giving viewers a dynamic and comprehensive look at the action happening across the sports center. Each camera captured the energy, excitement, and camaraderie of the young participants as they played iconic Filipino games such as patintero, piko, tumbang preso, and more.

We also provided a live feed to two TV monitors placed within the venue, allowing attendees, teachers, and parents to enjoy real-time coverage of all game stations and competitions.
