Medical Cannabis Policy Forum

The Digibox Team successfully livestreamed via Ustream its video coverage of the National Policy Forum on "Medical Cannabis: Is It About Time?" held last February 27 at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Conference Center, Makati City.

To ensure nationwide participation, the forum was also video-conferenced via Skype to various sites, including:

• College of Science, UP Baguio
• Salonga Center for Law and Development, Silliman University, Dumaguete
• Western Mindanao State University, Zamboanga City
• Mindanao Commission on Women, Davao City

The Medical Cannabis Policy Forum aimed to raise public awareness on the medical use of cannabis and to present multiple perspectives on the policy issue.

The event was organized by the House Committee on Dangerous Drugs, chaired by Congressman Vicente Belmonte.
