Digibox is proud to have been the official videographer for Pusong Wagas, a full-length contemporary ballet production by Ballet Philippines.

The production marked an exciting milestone for us, as we fully tested our new three-camera Panasonic HMC45 setup, recording in Full HD using SD cards for the first time. The performance's rich movement and dynamic staging made it an ideal opportunity to push our multi-camera system to its limits — and it delivered beautifully.

Pusong Wagas is a work by resident choreographer Alden Lugnasin, with original music by independent music icon Cynthia Alexander and a libretto by Nicolas B. Pichay. The ballet draws inspiration from the legend of Mandaluyong, telling the story of Luyong, a gifted carpenter, and Manda, a tribal princess — their love and ultimate sacrifice in the face of impending foreign invasion.

Co-produced with the City of Mandaluyong, the production ran from February 17 to 19, 2012 at the Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (CCP Little Theater), with tickets priced at ₱1000 and ₱600.

It was a privilege for the Digibox team to document this moving tale of love, courage, and heritage brought to life through dance.
